RBP Methods is excited to introduce you to our newest Consultant, John Copeland. John began working with us in April, 2010 and will be focusing on the expansion of RBP Methods services to Eau Claire, WI and the Upper Midwest, and will be available for remote support of our existing clients.
John brings nearly ten years of experience working with accounting systems, and has spent the past six years working with nonprofit organizations With bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems and Accounting, as well as an extensive and well rounded background in technology, he is the perfect addition to the RBP Methods team. “I think one of my greatest strengths is in finding technology solutions to address business process issues, whether it is in creating a custom solution or simply leveraging an existing tool such as MS Office. For example, I am currently exploring ways in which the new capabilities within Microsoft Excel 2010 can be used by nonprofits as an affordable business intelligence tool.” John has excellent technical capabilities and appreciates the inherit challenges and complexities of accounting requirements within the nonprofit sector.
John will offer implementation and support for Sage MIP Fund Accounting and for AccuFund. He headed the development of new services offerings which include annual organization database checkups, chart of accounts restructuring, and custom reporting solutions. In addition, John has developed two new add-ons, Leave Accrual for MIP and Detailed A/R Billing Statements for MIP.
