The Workflow Modules consist of four modules: Budget, Requisition, Inventory and Timesheet. Each module is designed to seamlessly integrate with your Abila MIP Fund Accounting™ solution.
The Budget Module
This advanced planning and reporting tool allows you to create budget worksheets for any time period. Microix automates the process by building budget worksheets based on any program, department, fund grant or other designation. Worksheets can also be pre-loaded with current and pro year data from Abila MIP Fund Accounting’s™ General Ledger. Once managers have finalized the budget worksheet, it can be submitted to a multi-level approval process. After approval, the worksheets are automatically transferred to Abila MIP™ as up-posted budget entries.
The Requisition Module
Accountants and non-accounting staff can use the Requisition Module to create purchase requests right from their computer. System administrators can enforce specific requirements to reduce errors and ensure that the information in the request is accurate. Once the request is submitted and approved through a multi-level approval process, it is automatically converted to a purchase order and transferred to Abila MIP™ as an un-posted encumbrance or A/P transaction.
The Inventory Module
This module can help you improve your inventory management efforts by allowing you to track and monitor your inventory in real-time. Users can view all of the items they have in inventory and manage adjustments for shortage, damage, and stolen items. You can also track the movement of inventory items to identify fast or slow moving products.
The Timesheet Module
With the Microix Timesheet Module, your employees can record their timesheet data electronically and automatically route them through a multi-level approval process. Once approved, Microix will adjust the employee’s payroll distribution code to match their timesheet allocated hours and generate a regular timesheet within Abila Fund Accounting’s™ Payroll Module.
