Who We Are

RBP Methods is a consulting firm based in Oregon and serving the Pacific Northwest dedicated to advancing technology use of fund accounting software and fundraising software in nonprofit and governmental agencies. We have developed our expertise to understand software technology and its impact on these business arenas. We make it our business to know what is happening in the world of accounting software for publicly- and privately-funded agencies.

Our staff

Kent Arnold, President and CEO

Mr. Arnold is a CPA with extensive background in nonprofit and governmental audit and consulting. Mr. Arnold began RBP Methods with a vision to make technology understandable to the average user of that technology. He has a degree of accountancy and a degree in computer information systems. He has worked in, for, or around non-profit and governmental organizations for nearly 30 years, developing a great depth of understanding and compassion for the missions and tasks of these special corporate entities. Mr. Arnold works with fund accounting software including Sage MIP Fund Accounting™ and Accufund™.

Lynne Older, Director Of Business Administration

Ms. Older has work all of her business career in non-profit and governmental administrative positions. She joined RBP Methods at start up to help organize and direct all office activities. As we have grown, Ms. Older has taken on all of the administrative duties of the business.

Justin Arnold, Consultant

Mr. Arnold is a graduate of Pacific University in Oregon and focuses fundraising software including Sage Fundraising 50. He has training in technical support and customer relations and has an indepth knowledge about the business and working with nonprofit entities. Mr. Arnold's understanding of fundraising principles as well as his technical skills with non-linear relationships allows him to quickly assimilate information for the way fundraising professionals work and learn.

John Copeland, Consultant

Mr. Copeland is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with degrees in Accounting and in Management Information Systems.  John has a diverse background in ERP and CRM systems.  During the past six years he has implemented fund accounting software at non-profit organizations across the country.  When John is not implementing systems he enjoys building custom applications in the .NET framework and using Microsoft Office.  John works with Accufund and with Sage MIP Fund Accounting.
